To uphold our ethical commitment to animal welfare, we respect and defend animals' essential freedoms throughout the production process.

Multidisciplinary teams at all processing units are in charge of ensuring that animal welfare programs' policies and procedures are followed.

Cannon Cold Storage’ global goal prioritizes animal care, while also honoring the expectations of customers, consumers, and society, as well as the ideals of valuing life. The Company’s activities are benchmarked against best practices and adhere to the Farm Animal Welfare Council’s (FAWC) five essential freedoms for animals. The Company forms agreements with producers all over the world to ensure that they adhere to this goal, while also retaining specialized species-specific teams that use continually updated procedures and urge producers to provide the animals with the best possible care.

Our Chicken Farms

1. Grandparent's Farm

The chicken that arrives at our table is from the third generation of a supersized lineage. Her story begins with her grandparents, who arrived from Latin America and Holland in Europe.

The eggs from the grandparent chicken are transferred to the incubator, where they will be kept at a temperature and humidity comparable to the hatching hens' nest. So they'll be born naturally.
